  Jonathan was named a SEMI-FINALIST in BUILD-A-BEAR Workshop's HUGGABLE HEROES contest.      His prize was a $15 gift card to Build-A-Bear.   He used his gift card and we added "afew" dollars and purchased a very special bear.    This special bear is wearing a t-shirt that says "PERU CREW 2008" and.....he  speaks  SPANISH!!!!!  We will be selling raffle tickets to raise MORE MONEY FOR PERU.    Raffle tickets are

WHAT IS H.U.G.S.*???

The H.U.G.S.* Cookbook is the "creation"  of ten year old Jonathan Ross.   Each summer a group from his church, The First Presbyterian Church of Huntington, West Virginia, travels to Peru to do mission work.   This group has been nicknamed "The Peru Crew."     The Peru Crew helps build buildings, has Bible school and holds free medical clinics.  Jonathan is too young to go to Peru to help so he decided to help in another way.    He decided he should have a fundraiser.    After thinking awhile and discussing this with his family the cookbook idea was born.    Jonathan decided it would be fun to have recipes from FAMOUS people in this book.    With his parents' help he contacted "famous" people asking them to send a recipe for the book.     These "famous" people are Hollywood celebrities, politicians, local well-known folks just to name a few.    Jonathan learned that great things can happen by simply sending a letter or email.
